As the appeal progresses through its necessary steps, a need has been identified to talk out the options and what they would mean to the parishioners of Sacred Heart, whether the appeal succeeds or fails. This page is an attempt to provide an open discussion of issues of concern, and is different from the other pages in that 1) the author’s name is published, and 2) statements are understood to be individual opinion, for discussion, and not necessarily representative of either the appeal or of the majority of the parish. As is standard practice with opinion pages, not all letters can be posted, and some may be edited before posting.
Paul Bradford has volunteered the first editorial, “Giving It All We Have”, from July 10th. If you would like to respond to this or other editorials please indicate which one, and submit your own “letter to the editor” to editorial@sacredheartappeal.org.
